Family of 4 killed in northeast Ohio house explosion
NORTHFIELD CENTER, OH.- A couple and their two young children have been killed in a house explosion in northeast Ohio.
The explosion happened Monday night in Northfield Center Township in Summit County.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and saw flames shooting from the home.
Fire Chief Frank Risko says the bodies of a man, a woman and their two young girls were found in the home. Authorities have not identified the victims.
Neighbors reported hearing the blast around 8:30 p.m. It shook nearby homes.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
