BATON ROUGE - Police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian and fled the scene near Tigerland.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday at Brightside Ln. and Alvin Dark Ave. At this time, 26-year-old Blake McKee is in critical condition.

His family is searching for the driver of the vehicle.

"We're just hoping for people to come forward with leads," said Brad McKee. "From all the Facebook messages and different things we're getting, it sounds like there was a crowd of people around."

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver or light colored 1999 - 2002 Honda Accord EX with alloy rims, missing driver's side mirror, missing center cap on the left front tire, and possible damage to the left front of the vehicle.

"Obviously he's not speaking and he's not awake, but I know he can hear me," said McKee.

The victim's employer is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect. If you have information, call the Baton Rouge Police Department at 389-7819.
