Falling headstone kills man
THROOP, PENNSYLVANIA- A man decorating his relative's grave for Easter was killed when the headstone fell and struck him.
It happened at Saint Joseph's Cemetery and the 74-year-old was hit in the head. A caretaker at the cemetery says the man and his wife visit the grave several times a year and tie a cross to it.
He says the bases of headstones sink when the ground thaws, making them susceptible to tipping over.
