BATON ROUGE- Authorities raided a store and found boxes of fake drugs.

Police said they were working on tips and found synthetic pot. About 40 pounds were confiscated from East Boulevard Grocery. Officers also found $21,707 cash.

Bernard Oti faces charges connected to the raid. One hundred pounds of synthetic marijuana was also found at his house.

A group of officers were responsible for the bust, including the new BRAVE team and the city's narcotics officers, SWAT and state ATC officers.

"This investigation by the BRAVE Team was successful due to proactive police work and their every day involvement in the community," a police spokesperson said.
