Deputies in East Feliciana Parish have recovered four counterfeit $100 bills passed at local businesses and expect to find more. Detectives say the bogus notes are printed on bleached and washed $5 bills and a counterfeit detection pen does not create the black stain associated with wood-based paper. When the bills are held against a light, the $5 security markings can be seen.
