Fair shooting victim dies, suspect arrested
BATON ROUGE - One man has died after being shot near the rides at the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair, Saturday night.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office says, 20-year-old, Darruis Scott, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The accused shooter, 18-year-old, Keithdrick Pier was arrested. Deputies say, it was witnesses that were able to point to Pier as the gunman.
He was arrested on fair grounds and taken to the East Baton Rouge Prison.
He has been charged with second-degree murder.
