Fair grounds cleared after shooting
BATON ROUGE - The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair was shut down Saturday night after one person was shot following an argument.
According to East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, the victim received serious injuries as a result of the shooting and was brought to a local hospital.
According to fair officials, the shooting happened in the area where the rides are located.
Deputies say their investigation is ongoing.
