Explore career options, campus life at BRCC Open House
BATON ROUGE - If you are looking for unique educational opportunities or trying to take the next step in your career, Baton Rouge Community College is looking for you.
You can get more information about BRCC Saturday at their Open House. Steve Mitchell and Timothy Johnson joined us this morning on 2une In with all the details.
It's an exciting time at the Baton Rouge Campus. There's an International Festival, performance and even a basketball game leading up to Saturday's event.
Enrollment is now over 10,000 students, and the Open House provides students that are thinking about attending the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff. They'll also be able to tour the campus.
"The education you receive at BRCC prepares you to attend any university in the country," Johnson says. "Students are impressed with the level of professionalism they get in that academic setting."
"We've offer over 50 degrees for students who are going into the workforce or who want to continue into that four year degree," Mitchell explains.
The BRCC Open House is Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Magnolia Building on the Mid City Campus (201 Community College Dr.). On-site registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
