BATON ROUGE- A new report found an expanded interstate system has lessened the time drivers spend in traffic.
A group of highways who meet regularly to discuss issues with the state's highway system said Friday, issues are being dealt with to the benefit of drivers.
Wrecks are also cleared faster, data showed. Although, there have been more crashes on the two interstates compared to last year.
The I-12 widening into Livingston Parish from Juban Road to Walker should end in about a month.
