Exit ramps closed due to high water
BATON ROUGE- The east and westbound exit ramps off I-10 at LA 975 in Iberville Parish are closed because of high water. Both exit ramps have been closed to traffic and for turn-arounds.
Interstate 10 intersects LA 975 west of Ramah at milepost 127. DOTD has placed barricades at both exits. Louisiana State Police say these closures will remain in effect until the water subsides and the roadways are safe for travel.
Additional information on road closures can be found by going to www.511la.org or by dialing 511 from a cell phone. Drivers are also encouraged to dial *LSP (*577) to report unsafe roadway conditions to the nearest Troop.
