Ex-producer pleads guilty in tax credits scheme
BATON ROUGE - A former Baton Rouge film producer has pleaded guilty to a charge of wire fraud.
Gregory Walker admitted Wednesday he received over $971,000 for bogus Louisiana film tax credits.
The 46-year-old could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison, fined $250,000 and required to forfeit more than $971,418.
Walker entered his plea before U.S. District Judge James J. Brady.
Brady did not immediately schedule a sentencing hearing.
Walker was allowed to remain free on bail while he waits for his sentence.
