NEW ORLEANS - A former New Orleans police officer is asking to be freed on bond while he awaits a retrial.
David Warren is charged with shooting and killing a man without justification outside a strip mall in Hurricane Katrina's aftermath. Another officer later burned Glover's body in a car.
Warren's attorneys argue he isn't a flight risk and doesn't pose a danger to the public.
