Evelyn Holden to remain in federal custody
UPDATE: The sister of Baton Rouge Mayor-President Kip Holden will remain in federal custody after investigators say she violated the terms of her release.
U.S. Marshals arrested Evelyn Holden Tuesday. Last November, she pleaded guilty to a federal bribery probe surrounding Baton Rouge City Court. She was released on her own recognizance.
Investigators say she violated the terms of her release when she was arrested by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office in late December for allegedly attempting to bribe a Baton Rouge man and threatening him.
