The Police Chief of St. Gabriel is facing conflict on interest charges filed by the Louisiana Board of Ethics.

The board says Police Chief Kevin Ambeau may have violated the state ethics laws by operating a private security business in St. Gabriel while serving as chief of police.

The Ethics Board filed the charges after investigating the information about a possible conflict.
