Ethel woman accused of sexual relationship with juvenile
BATON ROUGE - East Baton Rouge Sherriff's charged a woman Tuesday with having a sexual relationship with a juvenile 7 years ago.
The victim told deputies that as a juvenile, he had engaged in a consensual sexual relationship with a 20-year-old woman.
According to EBRSO, the victim continued the relationship with Amanda Layne Blackwell, 27, of Ethel, Louisiana, for years and she gave birth to a child in 2009.
Deputies said that the victim told them Blackwell refused to allow him to see the child three months ago and threatened to never allow him to see the child again if he contacted law enforcement.
Deputies arrested Blackwell Tuesday and charged her with Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. She posted $10,000 bond and was released later that day.
