Estimate: 300,000 people attended Strawberry Festival
PONCHATOULA- Somewhere around 300,000 people attended the Strawberry Festival in this southern Tangipahoa Parish town over the weekend.
The attendance was in the record books, according to ActionNews17.com. Previous record crowds have hit 200,000.
State Police said there were no major issues. Troopers posted numerous pictures from a helicopter to the agency's Facebook page.
