Escapees from St. Mary Parish caught
CENTERVILLE - Sheriff's deputies said two people who escaped from custody in St. Mary Parish have been recaptured.
Traci Landry with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that Christopher Horton and Joshua Folks were in custody. She said additional details would be released later in the day.
Deputies said Horton and Folks were discovered missing early Monday morning from the parish law enforcement center in Centerville. Both were awaiting trial, Horton for murder and arson charges, and Folks for aggravated escape and theft charges.
