WBRZ - Baton Rouge

An East Baton Rouge Parish Prison escapee suspect is wanted in a carjacking this morning in West Baton Rouge Parish. Deputies say Jeremy Ricard stole the truck from Nino's Truck Stop on Hwy. 415.

Authorities say you should be on the lookout for a 2007 silver GMC pick-up with the license plate "B595877". The truck also has a sign on it that reads "NEN LLC".

Detectives say the escapee was armed with a handgun and pointed it at two men who were coming out of the truck stop.

Authorities already arrested Leonard Thomas. He was the other suspected escapee with Ricard.
