BOGALUSA - A Mississippi man who reportedly said he was never going back to prison is now doing just that.
Authorities captured escaped inmate Johnny Hall Wednesday afternoon in Bogalusa. His accomplice in the escape, Mary Virginia Rhea, was also arrested.
Hall escaped from two Wilkinson County Correctional Facility officers Friday while attending his father's wake in Picayune. Just outside the funeral home, Hall jumped into a waiting car driven by a blonde woman.
Hall had been serving a 17-year sentence for three burglary convictions from Pearl River County.
Both Hall and Rhea are being held by Bogalusa Police and will be extradited to Mississippi.
Rhea faces a charge of aiding an escape and Hall faces an additional five year sentence, if convicted of escape.
