Escaped convict returned to Louisiana
BATON ROUGE - One of Louisiana's most wanted people returned back to the state in cuffs Thursday afternoon. Keana Barnes had been on the run after breaking out of Louisiana Correctional institute for Women New Year's Day.
She was found in Los Angeles last week.
Prison officials told WBRZ News2 last week, that she would returned back to the prison where she escaped, but measures will be taken to make sure her type of escape does not happen again.
Barnes is currently serving 25 years for manslaughter.
