Escape not detected for 2 days
MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON- An escape wasn't detected in a city jail north of Seattle for two days and until the prisoner's lawyer showed up to talk to him.
Rhyan Vasquez is now back in the Marysville City Jail after jailers looked a surveillance video and saw he had backed out a door and into a hallway while other prisoners returned from a visitation area.
Court papers say his absence wasn't noticed until his lawyer asked to see him two-days later.
It's unclear how he was caught but along with a robbery charge, an escape charge will be tacked on.
