Error allows accused killer to leave jail
BATON ROUGE- A mistake led to an accused killer getting out of jail when he was not supposed to be free.
Cardale Green turned himself in Friday after being on the streets for a day.
The district attorney's office said a court clerk mixed up paperwork with a co-defendant in the case who was acquitted.
Green does not face charges for leaving parish prison.
