NEW ORLEANS - The top of the Entergy Corp. headquarters building is being turned into a continuous message board keeping fans abreast of the BCS National Championship game in New Orleans.
The power provider will mount eight high-definition projectors on its 28-story office tower - located about a block from the Superdome - and display 3-D images and animated graphics touting the rematch between LSU and Alabama.
The Times-Picayune said the display measures almost half the size of a football field. It will be plugged into Twitter where some fan tweets will hit the bright lights.
The lighting system will also pose BCS trivia and poll questions, and fans will be able to respond by texting a number or by responding on Twitter.
Entergy says its shareholders are paying for the display.
