Clearing skies, cooler temperatures and lower humidity will define your Wednesday. Clouds will break from west to east as a cold front pulls farther away from the Baton Rouge area. With winds becoming northwesterly, from a cooler and drier source region, afternoon thermometers should alas stop shy of 80°. The ongoing import of cooler air will allow an overnight low in the low 50s under mostly clear skies.
