WALKER - A 14-year-old was shot in the leg Friday afternoon.

Authorities responded to the injured teen, reported in the 11000 block of Arnold Road near Duff outside of Walker.  Dispatchers were told the shooting was an accident.

Sources told WBRZ, the teen was shot above the left ankle by a 40 cal. weapon and injuries are not life threatening. 

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing.
