Email set up to report Ascension flood damage
GONZALES - Ascension Parish officials said people affected by the flooding on Wednesday should use the email address email@example.com to aid the process of assessing flood water damage to homes and businesses.
Rick Webre, director of Ascension Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, said citizens should include their name, address, phone number, and a description of damage to property including any readings of water levels.
Property owners should also include photos of the damage and make sure to include their address in the subject line of the email.
Those looking for more information regarding damage assessment or road closures can contact APOHSEP by calling (225) 621-8360 or visiting their website.
