Email pleads for help
CINCINNATI, OHIO- A girl who emailed an adult for help led to child abuse charges against her mother, grandmother and stepfather.
They are accused of beating and tying three kids to their beds for weeks at a time and depriving them of food.
The stepfather is also accused of raping two girls who are nine and eleven and abusing an eight-year-old son.
There's also a two-year-old in the household.
The names of those involved are not used to protect the identities of the children.
The Scioto County Sheriff's Office says one of the girls sent an email for help to a teacher at her online school.
The kids were being home schooled.
The teacher contacted authorities.
