Update: 05:16:00 Tunica Hills Elementary School will be closed today as West Feliciana Deputies continue their search for an escaped Angola Prison inmate Henry Smith. Students will be bussed to other area schools.

Deputies are now offering a cash reward for information leading to Smith's arrest. Smith is a convicted murderer who escaped from the Louisiana State Penitentiary while working on a road clean-up detail on Thursday. More than 200 law enforcement officials around the state have joined the manhunt. Authorities believe Smith may be hiding around Cat Island, near St. Francisville. They're asking residents to stay alert and keep their doors locked.
