The New Orleans Police Department is investigating the death of a 77-year-old man whose body was found Sunday in a car.

Investigators say the man was found shot to death inside of a white four door Ford Crown Victoria around 7:10 a.m.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his name is being withheld pending the notification of family members.
