Eight arrested in drug investigation
LIVINGSTON - Sheriff's deputies arrested eight people in Livingston Parish this week as part of a drug investigation.
Spokesperson Lori Steele said on Monday deputies arrested Curtis Baxter, 33, of Baton Rouge; Robert Halford, 37, of Denhams Springs; Dedrick Thomas, 32, of Walker; Denise Mann, 42, of Walker; Chad Granger, 35, of Livingston; Martha Wallace,57, of Denham Springs; Shawn Goudeau, 39, of Denham Springs, and Donald Goudeau Jr., 37, of Baton Rouge.
All eight were booked into the parish jail.
Steele said narcotics investigators have also made a total of 308 narcotics arrests between July 2012 and June 2013, and seized 993 grams of cocaine, 4,147 grams of marijuana, 92 grams of methamphetamine, 1,088 individual prescription drug pills, and 2,050 grams of methylone or "Molly."
