BATON ROUGE – Eight women, including a 17-year-old from Jena, were arrested in a prostitution sting conducted by Baton Rouge Police officers last night.

Officers said the women were advertising themselves on a website, and were arrested after meeting undercover police officers who posed as clients at several local hotels.

Some of the women were from out of state, and most were in their mid- to late-20’s. Some were also accused of being in possession of marijuana.

All were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
