EBRSO: Two arrested after stolen pills found
BATON ROUGE - Deputies arrested two men Thursday in possession of pills stolen by a third man from a Baton Rouge pharmacy June 16.
Casey Hicks with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said investigators learned Donald Behrens, 36, and Timothy Williams, 39, had hidden the pills which after they were stolen by Aaron Beyl, 30.
Beyl was arrested after investigators said he broke into into the Rite Aid on Millerville Rd. Deputies said he disabled the alarms and surveillance systems before stealing thousands of dollars worth of Ritalin, morphine, oxycodone, opana, hydrocodone and oxycotin.
Detectives found Beyl's fingerprint from materials left behind, and U. S. Marshals located him at his girlfriend's house the same day.
Hicks said investigators learned Behrens and Williams took the pills from Beyl to hide them, and deputies found thousands of the stolen pills at the men's residences.
Beyl faces charges of simple burglary of a pharmacy, theft, and simple criminal damage to property. Behrens is charged with distribution of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and distribution and possession of legend drugs. Williams is charged with possession of drugs.
