BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies released photos of a man they said cashed a fake check in Baton Rouge for more than $2,200 in real cash.
EBRSO spokesperson Casey Rayborn Hicks said the man cashed the check May 30 around 1 p.m. at a bank on Jefferson Highway.
She said the man is a black male about 5'8" to 5'9", and was wearing a yellow-and-blue striped polo shirt when he cashed the check.
Hicks said a cash reward was offered for anyone with information leading to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information should call (225) 389-5000.
