BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's Deputies in East Baton Rouge Parish released an image and description of a man wanted for robbing a Baton Rouge bank on Friday afternoon.

Deputies said the robber entered the Chase bank branch at 8751 Siegen Lane shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 16, jumped the counter and grabbed cash from an open drawer. The suspect then left the bank and ran through the woods behind the bank in the direction of Meadow Park, according to detectives.

Investigators said the man is between 5'10"-6'0" tall and weighs between 200-220 lbs. He was wearing a black zip-up hooded jacket, large sunglasses and a black and grey bomber hat.
