BATON ROUGE - A missing hospital patient that walked away from a Baton Rouge medical center has been located, according to authorities.

Casey Hicks with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department said 30-year-old Crandell Turner was located by deputies around 4:15 p.m. She said Turner was spotted walking by himself along the Magnolia Bridge east of Greenwell Springs, and taken into custody by a deputy.

Turner walked away from the Greenwell Springs Hospital around 10:48 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies had been searching neighborhoods around the hospital all day, and sent out a phone call to home in a five-mile radius around it earlier today.
