EBRSO: Man found with meth material
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies arrested a Baton Rouge man after they said he was caught with the material to cook meth.
Deputies arrested Polo Mouton, 31, after they said he admitted to cooking meth during a traffic stop.
Detectives said they'd received a tip about someone cooking meth in the area of Frenchtown Road, and found Mouton in his vehicle there. Deputies said Mouton had a backpack which had several items inside used to make meth. The investigators said Mouton told them he'd used the material to cook meth, and was on his way to destroy the items.
Mouton was charged with creating a clandestine lab, possessing drug paraphernalia, and creating or operating a lab near a BREC park. They said he also had outstanding warrants for drug possession and creating a clandestine lab.
