BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies said one person was shot this morning in the northern part of East Baton Rouge Parish, and they're still searching for the shooter.

EBRSO spokesperson Casey Hicks said a 20-year-old man was shot in the back around 10 a.m.

It happened near the intersection of Prescott Road and Victoria Drive. There's no word on the victim's condition.
