EBRSO: Driver did donuts before crashing into ditch
BATON ROUGE - Police say a man was driving drunk when he crashed into a ditch after he did donuts in the fire department's front yard.
The wreck happened on LA 426 west of LA 3245. The fire department was already on scene when police arrived, and said that Dillon Dawson, 29, had torn up their yard. Responding deputies say the driver admitted that he had "some beers before" he got behind the wheel and "shouldn't have been driving".
Dawson, of Livingston, was arrested and booked with his third DWI, criminal damage to property, failure to yield and careless operation.
