BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies in East Baton Rouge Parish asked for the public's help finding a man accused of trying to kill two people with his vehicle.

Casey Hicks with EBRSO said detectives are looking for Jonathan Bell, 25, in suspicion of attempted second-degree murder.

She said Bell's accused of trying to run down two people, including his ex-girlfriend, on Sept. 6 as they walked in an alley between King Bradford and Derby Drive. They said the vehicle missed them the first time, then came after them again. The vehicle hit one of them, breaking their hip.

Hicks asked anyone with information about the incident or Bell's location to call EBRSO at (225) 389-5000. She said a cash reward is offered for any information which leads to an arrest of those responsible.
