EBR students could face random gun searches
BATON ROUGE - East Baton Rouge Parish students could be subjected to random, school-wide searches for guns if some school administrators have their way.
At a meeting Thursday, EBR School officials discussed regular sweeps where all students would be searched for guns and other weapons at randomly selected schools.
A task force plans to meet again in early May to settle on a proposal to present to the school board.
