BATON ROUGE- The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is set to meet Wednesday evening to tackle budget issues.

The school system is trying to fix a $39 million deficit.

Some of the suggestions on the table include closing EBR Lab Academy, moving the Staring Education Center, eliminating programs, and reviewing teacher contracts.

Letters went out last month warning of lay-offs.
