EBR School Board to consider changing fighting policy
BATON ROUGE- The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is considering changing a policy in the student handbook regarding fighting at schools.
Leaders want to change a part that requires principals to call police when there is a fight on campus.
The change would leave the decision to report to authorities in the school leader's hands.
The board will review the proposal at a meeting on Thursday. The meeting will be at the district administration office at 5 p.m.
