EBR School Board leaves one finalist on list for superintendent
BATON ROUGE- The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board has taken another step toward hiring a new superintendent.
Wednesday night, leaders whittled down the list of candidates to one. Samuel King, a superintendent from Georgia, was the only one invited back to continue the process. He's expected to visit schools and meet with the public again, before the board makes a final decision.
The district says a schedule of events for King's return to Baton Rouge will be released soon.
