WBRZ - Baton Rouge

Parents in East Baton Rouge Parish can begin registering their toddlers for the 2013-2014 school year this month.

The district's Pre-K Round-Up application period will be held January 28 - February 1. During those days, parents can pick up packets from their school of preference between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The district will also host two Preschool Palooza sessions to give parents more information about schools and their programs.

The first session will be this Saturday, January 19 from 10 - 2 p.m. at Cortana Mall.

The second session takes place Wednesday, January 23 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Woodlawn Middle School.

The events are free and open to the public.
