Update: News 2's Kristy Davis spoke to East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore.

He said that he has been out to St. Gabriel to look at the body. Moore said it's a joint investigation between Baton Rouge and St. Gabriel authorities until the body is identified.

The St. Gabriel Police Department told News 2 they found a woman’s body badly burned in a ditch off Highway 141. A man from the area found the body when he was looking for his horses.
