BATON ROUGE - City-parish leaders lifted a curfew for East Baton Rouge Parish today.
The curfew had been in place from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
Mayor-Kip Holden made the announcement during this morning's press briefing, saying authorities saw no reason to keep it in place.
He said people should still be wary of utility crews out working on lines and debris in roadways that may not have been cleared yet.
