BATON ROUGE- Lots of talk around Baton Rouge Wednesday followed Tuesday night's continued feud between Mayor Kip Holden and the Metro Council.
The back-and-forth battles have persisted all year involving budgets, the fourth attempt at a bond proposal and projects to grow downtown Baton Rouge, among other topics. The latest came when council overturned two vetoes Wednesday that the mayor signed off on, after council created the new ordinances.
Council members say it all comes down to communication, something they haven't had with the mayor in a long time. But Holden says it's a problem with priorities and personal agendas.
