Earth Day celebration in downtown Baton Rouge
The green revolution took over downtown Baton Rouge today.
People at the Louisiana Earth Day Festival tested out environmentally friendly gadgets like a solar powered backpack that charges electronic devices.
A group of students from Baton Rouge High School showed off their homemade solar powered car.
There were also plenty of hands-on activities, from making mud houses to mixing bird seed.
The environmental festival ends at 8:30 tonight. It's free and open to the public.
