Early voting starts Saturday for April 5 election
BATON ROUGE - The Secretary of State's office reminded voters that early voting starts Saturday for the April 5 municipal election.
Early voting continues from March 22 through March 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, except for Sunday, March 23.
People who want to vote early can do so in person at their parish Registrar of Voters' Office of at other designated locations, including the Louisiana State Archives in Baton Rouge.

Elections will be held April 5 in 34 of the state's 64 parishes: Acadia, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Calcasieu, DeSoto, East Baton Rouge, East Carroll, Franklin, Grant, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Lafourche, LaSalle, Livingston, Madison, Natchitoches, Richland, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Union, Vermilion, Vernon, Washington, West Baton Rouge, West Carroll and Winn.
