Early voting begins tomorrow
BATON ROUGE -Early voting for the Nov. 6 election begins tomorrow and continues through Oct. 30.
Secretary of State Tom Schedler is encouraging all Louisianians eligible to vote in the Tuesday, Nov. 6 election to vote early.
"I anticipate high voter turnout for the Nov. 6 election," said Secretary of State Tom Schedler. "Voters can expect to encounter long lines especially during peak hours like before and after work or around lunchtime. By casting your ballot early, you can vote on your own schedule when it's most convenient. Don't make excuses. Go vote!"
Citizens who want to vote early may do so in person at their parish Registrar of Voters' Office from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, excluding Sunday, Oct. 28, or at other designated locations.
For a complete listing of early voting locations, visit the Secretary of State's website. Voters can also utilize our smartphone application, GeauxVote Mobile, to find out where to vote, what's on their ballot and their voting districts.
